Please excuse a post about fatalities so long after Age of War released
Coming from Age of Conan, I was so happy to hear fatalities were finally getting added after so long when I remember in the days of Early Access, mounts and fatalities were promised to be coming soon
But as it currently stands, the fatalities in game are… ehhhhh. I love that they’re there, but the animations are a little bit… lacking, gets repetitive really fast, and are quite a long ways off the insane variety Age of Conan offered and the fidelity of those animations.
Are there plans to add more fatalities or improve on the ones already in the game? There’s already some fatalities I recognise that have been ported from AoC like the dagger execution that plays for the ghosts when entering The Dregs. There’s like a handful of others that exist in the devkit like some decap ones that I’ve seen been used by modders, but only a very small number of what must be AoC’s, idk, hundred??
Given that we’ve had emotes ported over, and a lot of other misc animations, could we ever see more of Age of Conan’s excellent fatality animations in Exiles? Given the rarity of triggering them and the huge variety of possible fatalities, the ones in AoC always intrigued me that I’ve always wanted to know just exactly how many there are. It would be amazing if we could see them all some day in Exiles or in the devkit as modders’ resource - the ones we have right now (especially with the lack of facial animations too) make it so… lifeless (lol)
