Trying to do the Beastmaster Journey, but I got to “Feed your Pet” and it’s just not completing, even though I’ve fed my pet multiple times. Tried it with different pets as well.
I play Single-player with mods, so I’m hoping someone can confirm if this is an issue even without mods.
Have you tried putting some of a pets favorite food into it and right click on the food?
If what @Frillen suggested didn’t do the trick, I have to let a pet take a little damage first then put food in their inventory.

I didn’t know we could force-feed pets now. Did that change recently? Or am I just an idiot? lol
It’s been a thing for quite some time 
I’ve never really used force feeding for pets simply because I only use them as decorative, however for thralls it can be reeally useful…
First of all, force feeding and them eating automatically isn’t the same thing and has different results.
When a thrall eats from food(diet food) in its inventory it affects the levelling chance for different attributes depending on what type it is, also it gives them 15% extra damage + an increased healing effect.
When you force feed some to a thrall, it gets the actual buff that food would give you for 2 hours(I think) or until you force feed them a different food, the same can be done with potions, as far as I know you can only add buffs from food/drinks + potion/elixir, so in total 2 buffs besides the extra damage they get from food in their inventory used for faster healing

Switch to a different journey type then switch back
I had tried that, and relogging my game. I guess you just have to force feed them. It worked.
