I am posting here to ask for a fine tuning settings.
When we change the server settings (Solo/Coop), there is no way to increase/decrease the values in small increments like 0.1 or a option to pop the on-screen keyboard and let us type the values.
It would help a lot because we are limited to things like 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5… we can’t set values in between.
The animal pen crafting time multiplier we can only set to 0.1, 500. 10000… it is extremely limited.
What about something like hold L2 or R2 or both to make the slider finer 0.1
Please add fine tuning. It’s probably not even difficult to add and key combo to fine tune in a future update.
There are other games that use that method of holding a button to fine adjust values.
it would not be so difficult to implement a mode where you can slide via stick for small amount of changes and, maybe, keep L1 or L2 (or whatever button you choose) to make big sliding changes…
This is a very old issue that has never been really fixed, but I wonder how many old issues are still in the drawer, forgotten by the gods…
(By the way: is still present the bug where all clothes and hair physics die if you are using a character with altered height?)
That is why I suggested to let the slider with the current increments, and add a key combo like hold a button (R2 or L2 or other and move the stick or d-pad left/right) to fine tune with 0.1 increments.
Or just let us edit the value with the on-screen keyboard (press [specific button] to open the keyboard) while the field is selected. They can clamp the values (e.g. 0.0 to 1.0 ), and they can also make the on-screen keyboard numerical only while using the settings fields.
This is not a difficult of time consuming thing to do. It’s just a matter of willingness to implement
There are some settings that have a ‘number box’ next to them but you can’t input a number. It would be nice to set the setting you want in the ‘number box’. One of the purge sliders used to go from either 0 for instant purges or 100 to take a month to get a purge. I think that’s been worked on in the last 6 months as the slider isn’t min or max only now I think.
Other sliders you can slide it all the way and back down to get it to 0.5 instead of 0.6 in some cases but it can be hard to get the exact settings you want when manipulating the settings in game.
Ever since the last few updates, I see them turn off time to time and they turn on moments later, It tends not to stick as much now.
Thou few of clothes after last update. Load as LOD back drop image in menu, or don’t load right during dye screen. But doesn’t effect game play.
Yep, they pointed out that some of option like that, Just do not work on consoles. (same as search bar) (or havn’t fully got them figured out)
