Yeah, I got my first snake purge a couple of days ago. The mass of squirming slimy scaly tubes of venomous death is an impressive (and intimidating!) sight to behold.
And they ate my Frigga Falsehope.

Well, as soon as I realized what I was up against ( I did not catch the in your face message…) I started shouting “OH $HIT, OoOOH $HIIIIIT!” enough so that my wife comes rushing to check whats up. When she saw them slithering, she started… OOOOOOh $hiiiiT…

I this for real nowadays? Back in March with the help of Multi I accidentally spawned a snake purge on my server, that was absolutely horrifying. (For provenance it inspired my personal homage to Snakes On A Plane.) I am about in that region of the jungle, I think. Can you post coords for sure?

I am pleased and horrified to answer YES!
First of all, this is on Single Player and the only mod I have on is Less Building Placement Restrictions.
I did however adjust my purge settings to lvl 5 and make it trigger at 10 000.
As you might have guessed I am defending my sandstone foundation map-room platform, and it is right next to the obelisk in N6 fitting nicely into the ruins there.
The fight itself was nice, it went better than I thought it would…until the big snakes arrived! I had to fend off not one but TWO of the Unnamed city white boss snakes! In different waves at least but still. If it was not for my predatory blade and being able to teleport back to get more healing arrows and such I would not have made it!
Oh and my Thrall helped too, after just staring at my envenomed self for a good part of the fight! (Silly Ai…)

Although in all seriousness, that would have been freakish. Imagine the poison stacks.

Thank goodness for Beast-Tamer Frida or whatever her name is…when she eventually found a weapon that she liked she started helping instead of spectating.
