This now happened with different save-files, new ones especially started short before to.
Followers are fine, guarding at base, and one day, they^re simply gone. They show up still in the follower list, can be tracked on the map, said guarding, but simply are invisible.
Today one fighter and two bearers. But like said, this same happened also in other previous saves, some older, some pretty new.
There is no lag, and game is runing fine. They vanish mostly after a relog or when i come back from a trip on the map. Leaving render-distance, then come back don’t make them show up, the only way is to rescue them each time this will happen, what can be several time in a row.
Followers on tree-plateformes seems not affected, so foundations or absence of may play in these disparitions.
My experience with this is that the thrall ('s) in question have fallen through the mesh. I set up on Iron Breaker Ridge in the Exiled Lands the time it happened to me. Every thrall that was not on a building piece fell through the mesh to the bottom of the map. I don’t know if this helps any or if this is the same issue or not.

Is this behavior consistent in your savegame? Does this happen with all thralls, or only with the ones at a specific location? Also, could you send us your savegame so we can check this out?

Same, as it’s Testlive, i use no mods at all, and still play with default settings.
Happened also on non testlive games, and even in ghost mod i couldn’t spot the missing followers. May happen on Exiled Lands like on Siptah.
It’s definitevely not a mod issue, and you can’t say when they will beome invisible. They still shown on the exact place on the map where they should be, just they are not.

Followers have different origines, from cages, captured ones, no pattern. They can be fine for days, then one day you come back and one or several are missing.
They show still up in the follower list, can be tracked on the map if activated, and seems still be on the same place after the map. But they are not, or invisible.
Spot in ghost mod didn’t give any result. They not inside meshes or else. Went even to point 0.00 of the map (the spooky point), theyn ot here,
I can rescue them, but of course lose all equipment, so just a so so solution, and very frustrating if this happens several times in a raw.
Edit: will try to run some tests more, placing followers on different foundations, and placing them simply on ground.
Mostly happened if they are placed on ground, while these placed on tree plateformes are still here. May be coincidence, or not. Hard to say, you never know when this will happen.
