Bug Description:
Followers don’t teleport to you if they get stuck in the water.
Bug Reproduction:
Have followers, go near water and they’ll find a way to get stuck in the swimming animation. Run away/map room/do anything… they won’t teleport to you.

I have experienced it on official servers, off and on for the last three (3) years.
It will happen, during a fight, when the thrall gets knocked in to water that is not walkable. Aside from logging, the only recourse is to physically place the thrall on land and to reenable following.
It’s not super common, but I’ve seen this on occasion on PlayStation as well. Official server.
Happening on official playstation Exiles swimming in to base up stairs in water does not follow. Install door somewhere else. @Caroll
I do concur this has happened to me on official pc servers. But its so rare that I never bothered reporting it. It mainly happens to mounts. But I figured out if I just mount the horse stuck swimming I can just ride it to shore and keep on goin.
I’ve only had this happen to me once in my play time and the thrall randomly died after being stuck in the water for over half an hour.
This was on an official pve server.
stop following > follow helps bring them back.
Not sure how you give the stop follow/follow command to someone who got stuck on the other side of the map.
