It started out as a day adventuring like any other. I decided I was going to do a run through the Silver Mine dungeon. Now call me unobservant if you will, but mid way through, in what could be described as the main antechamber, the one with the crystal deposits (pictued below), I made a discovery.
So something fateful happened…I turned my head upward while wearing the Night-Stalkers Mask and I discovered something which had gone unnoticed for me. That there was an extensive network of wooden scaffolding above and leading in an upward trajectory.
Stunned by my own unobservedness, I began a long climb to the top, from platform to platform, enjoying what became a smidgin of ‘new’ content for me! Although there was no unique of revolutionary items discovered while transgressing my way upward, there was somewhere in the ballpark of 15+ chests by my count, mostly large ones, with respectable loot. And I also got to enjoy this great view of the chamber while perched high above!
Now I find myself wondering if anyone else had been missing this all of this time, or if this was just Croms_Faithful being a daft fool? Until now, I had just mistaken the lights dotted around the ceiling as sunlight filtering through, and would have continued to think so had I not been wearing my mask.
So what is the moral to the story here. That Croms_Faithful should get his eyesight checked!? Well maybe that too. But I wanted to point out how just when we think we have seen all there is to see in this phenomenal game, every now and then we find something which we did not know about, that makes us smile.

Not sure Eaea. To be perfectly honest I had missed it all until now. Perhaps I need to turn the brightness up on my television. Or get the aforementioned eye examination.
look to the walls in the chamber where the crystals are, there are extra vein of iron and coal on the wall, curiouslly there was a coal vein that could not be harvest for a long time and think it was patched in last updated since i was able to harvest it recently
I wonder if is there a hidden place in volcano, thats huge unexplored territory for me. In reddit i heard a rumor that there are a heavy stone mine on volcano comparable or better than the silver mine to gather rocks, but never found it, even in sp.
It is kind of a sigh of relief to know that it was not just me. While it is not something I keep close tabs on, I could swear that I usually do look up. What is amusing is just how thorough I can usually be in clearing dugeons. I like to check all nooks and crannies and leave no stone unturned. I even spent a number of hours and return journeys to the Warmakers Sanctuary trying to find a way to get to the Black Yeti and his chests behind the ice wall! It sounds like they got us good on this one peoples.
