Came back to Conan after a year. This is potentially not even a bug, but intended behaviour. But I’m pretty sure that it was different before and it makes base building much harder for me.
If you have a base which is higher up and you want to build stairs going down, this seems to be impossible now. You can’t build foundations under other foundations, even if they would be connected to rocks (and therefore should have stability 100). So there is really no way to build stairs down anymore, you can only build them up.
So, the question would be
- Is this a universal problem or did I do something wrong ?
- Is this a bug or intended ?
- If intented → Why ??
Hi and welcome,
I play on playstation but restrictions should be the same.
I am able to stack foundations down like you said. I was building a base on a rock and used this method to make a foundation for the elevator. Maybe there is something else or a mod that causes this issue?
But I think they changed something in foundation stacking. I was not able to stack higher then 21 foundation or pillars without any connection to a rock or something else.
I tested it at singleplayer and it was the same.
I think this 21 foundations is ok and shouldn’t cause what you described.
Are you playing single player or online?
