Foundations destroyed by other players on Official PVE-C server

Hi Exiles and Siptahns,

I play on the official server for my region. PVE-C server type. The specific reason I play on this type of server is so that the epic grinding I do is not wasted. I am a solo player, PVP is not for me, the clans will waste me. I PVE offline, with my son.

I had a wheel set up near Sinners Refuge. It was only there a day and a half. Today I log in and it is not there. Nearby is someone else’s wheel. I took a screenshot of the event log, and it indicates that this player destroyed a sandstone foundation of mine very recently. I believe it actually says (4) were destroyed, which is how many are missing, along with the wheel and named thrall. My understanding is that this was impossible. Server settings say no available building destruction, PVP is listed as 1800 to 2300 hours. Can anyone shed some light on this. The named thrall in the wheel, the wheel, and the foundation it was on are all gone. Attached is said screenshot.
Any advice is welcome.

Seems your foundation was decayed and then it can be destroyed by anyone passing by. Make a bigger area of foundations to increase the decay time, suggest building a small outpost house on the site :slightly_smiling_face:

Ahh, ok then, this makes sense. Thanks for the info.
I gather that the size of the structure affects the length of the decay timer.
Thanks again

Yes. Size of the structure and the quality of the materials.

Decay timer mate. Use a repair hammer and check the timer as it counts down.

People run around and demolish builds that have decayed.
