Game is absolutely unplayable rn, which is so sad cause the game itself is incredible. Please work on a fix asap.

any news on when this will be fixed? i mean a ‘hotfix’ would be really really nice coz no one in our guild or discord will buy the Siptah DLC if it isn’t going to be fixed or any information on when??? with my base in the ‘freeze crash’ zone I can’t get logged in long enough to leave it. and god help me if I get a purge??? any chance that they can at least give up some info about acknowledging the issue and working on it, and aiming to fix it …/…/… when???

Come on guys…this isnt a minor bug…its pretty major and effecting alot of players.

It’s been over a month now and cant play. A normal game company would respond and fix the issue but not these jokers. Consider the Conan history when you look at Dune.

First game freeze, then I get the exact same error msg .

Have put all my game settings to low, dose not help.

Can it be something to turn off in Nvidia settings that could prevent game from freeze/crash?

I don’t mind bad graphics, until Funcom can fix the bug.

I also crash with a rendercore disconnect whenever viewing the Volcano, as far away as the Tower. I’ve been forced to go into low graphics mode whenever I play on Siptah.

PS: After doing research on fixing this issue, it seems like this bug was released on PC when the DLC came out. Which means this is a 3 year old problem that doesn’t seem to get addressed.

I have an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT with the latest drivers, DX drivers, Sound drivers, etc. This is an issue within the Unreal Rendering Engine attempting to render a scene that NO GPU can handle. As an Animator with one of the fastest rendering computers on the planet, this DLC brings my computer to a complete halt.

Also… This bug is so old… The running Joke on our Siptah server is to ask people with a Playstation to label their Volcano Transports with “Welcome to DC Land, Good Luck!”

We’ve been having the same problems reported here constantly with Steam/PC on a private server that friends and family play on. We were playing Exiles for many months and enjoyed it a lot, but grew bored. So, “why not try Siptah?” Yeah…

We had just got established enough to start ranging into the southern islands when the breaking (forced as always!) patch came out. Then started getting the hangs, rubber banding, and about 30% of hangs ended in a hard crash. I was actually looking at the map when it happened to one of us. He was locked up on screen (then crashed), but I could see his marker “running” across the map like he was on a horse at full gallop. When he got back on, he was right where I saw his marker go. So it’s not teleporting, but rather your character is running(?) at full speed in the direction you were facing when it locked up. And you don’t have to be running when it locks either.

It was affecting all of us, so assumed server. So we did everything we could on the server short of a full reset. No improvement. We verified files, uninstalled/reinstalled, no improvement. On a hunch, I lowered all my video settings to the lowest (painfully low) settings and tested it, no improvement. Eventually went looking and found this thread among others on Redit etc. Been watching for updates since.

I know software has bugs, I’m a dev myself. What I find totally incompetent and unacceptable at this point is that total lack of communication from the culprit that shipped this mess clearly without much testing. How do they go this long without some official word? It’s seems clear they don’t care. Not the devs, I expect they care a great deal. I can tell you from experience, it’s the management that was almost certainly solely responsible for this mess to start with that have a gag order on responses to us. The companies I’ve worked for employ people who’s primary focus is making sure customers feel like they are heard, and kept informed even if (or especially if) correction is going to take a while. I did see a VERY few anemic responses on the xbox side, but it was clear that the work arounds weren’t tested any better than the product, and I didn’t see any that had positive feedback on improvement.

I think it’s time to look into Valheim, or maybe The Forest. It seems pretty clear Funcom doesn’t care about this game breaking bug. Pity really. We really enjoyed Conan until that update, but since then we’ve had nothing but frustration and loosing hard earned gear/supplies/thralls with this bug. We play together for fun. This has ceased being fun.
