I started the Freya quest a couple months ago and haven’t been able to complete it.
I got the journal from Stormwatch and gave it to her. After 8 hours she came to my base and we were supposed to hunt. I didn’t complete the hunt when she was at my base. She returned to her hovel.
She keeps saying, “My blade is too heavy. It’s been too long…” everytime I visit her hovel.
Is there anything I can do about this?
The hunting locations are only by her home and that section of the highlands. So you have to hunt the animals (deer and rabbits at first) then elk and bears while she finds the three ‘plants’ she needs for her poultice (they are at random locations near near cliffs or large pillars).
Yes, but after she visits you at your base you are supposed to go to her hovel and start a conversation which then starts the hunt. Which does not work because no dialog option other than “my blade…”.
I stuck with the part where she waits at the volcano forge. She starts with her dialogue but I can only choose “goodby”.
I had Liu Fei’s Quest stuck once, there it helped to start and complete Freyas Quest, after that Liu had talked to me again, but maybe just coincidence.
I’m stuck on the exact same spot as well on my server. No Liu fei quests are active. She came to my base, told me to come to her hovel when I was ready to hunt, stuck on “my blade is too heavy, it’s been too long.” I’ve tried relogging, waiting for server reset, going with and without followers. Nothing. 
@Raeil you offered a workaround on PC the other day and it worked. Do you think it’s possible this workaround to happen on our console too ?
If they have admin access it should. There are various console commands that can affect or even reset the companion quests.
I don’t remember the exact commands offhand but Google should turn them up.
All this is assuming console users can access the in-game command console, which I have no clue about.
So I had the reverse problem with Freyas quest at Playstation, start and finish Liu Fei’s Quest enabled Freyas quest progression again for me. Maybe worth a try.
