Bug Description:
I had a disconnect while Freya was following me, collecting plants for a poultice and hunting some animals. When I got online after the disconnect, she was no longer following me. I found her at her hovel, but now she will not follow me to finish that quest. All I can do is talk to her and ask her what she is collecting and what she wants to hunt. There’s no way to pick up the quest again.

I cannot reproduce this bug, because I cannot pick up that quest again…
not really the same situation but nearly the same problem.
Server 1302 was offline a few days ago. freya now kneels always infront of her campire at her house. “Returning home” stands under her name. i can speak with her, but she has nothing to say. This happens after she has visited my home the first time, and orderd me to her house. than the server crashed since this moment i can´t process with the quest.
Same problem on a private server - did the initial part, she appeared in my base after few hours, I then attempted to do it the second part a few days later (and many restarts after, if that matters) - and nope, she’s just kneeling and having a “Goodbye” as the only dialog option.
I’m having the same problem - I ave started both the Freya and Lui Fei quests and almost done with both but now can finish neither - She is stuck in “Returning Home” Status, and he tells me to start the ritual, but when I put the lotus in everything is still grayed out.
I cannot upload my log because I am a new user to the forums and it is too long for me to include in the text – Is there somewhere I can mail it? This is a frustrating issue
Here is my log and I am having problems with all the quests being stuck – Freya is “Coming Home” and I cannot do the LuiFei quest anymore because I cannot start the ritual and he wont give me bonemeal anymore
I had to finish killing the fourth beast, specifically the Wild Boar, but after 5 attempts with a respow in biblical times I got tired and disconnected. Today if I talk to Freya the only sentence she says is ‘Goodbye’.
Unfortunately a lightly modded priv server (Pippi, Amunet’s and Savage Wilds cluster) - can confirm that Freya’s blade is still “too heavy and it’s been too long” for her to move her lazy ass from the front of the hut and actually do some quests
Progression into the quest (done a few days after the initial update):
just did the Stormwatch part and she visited me in my base, then threw a tantrum and kept to the line in the SS for the next 2-2.5 weeks or so
@HighSaint May I suggest, as a stop-gap fix - to add a simple “restart questline” option to all dialogue steps (maybe with some confirmation, to avoid people reseting it by accident, when it’s not required) - so that if the quest bugs, we can at least restart it?
Hello, I came to the volcano and ran into a problem, seeing that Freya was already waiting for me. I went up to her to continue the quest, but when I pressed it, I got a button to only end the conversation, but there was no action button to activate the continuation of the Quest. Please
I had the same issue. I believe it should fix itself on server reset, which means waiting another day. I waited a few days just to be safe. I was able to continue after that.
FYI, I’m on PlayStation, but I believe that’s a common bug on all platforms. Hypothetically, that shouldn’t matter, but just in case it does, that’s why I stated it.
Try waiting another couple days. I didn’t even go back to it for like three days. I just heard it may get fixed after server reset. It’s pretty lame, but not sure if there’s any real consistency in the bugs, why they occur, and how to get by them.
