After a break of a few months, I’m happy to come back, attracted by the new content like Age of War III and the great building sets.
Of course, I’m also happy to invest some money to get back into the game… but unfortunately it is still not possible to simply buy what I want, I even see the sets in the loading screen, but unfortunately not in the bazaar. This is really very incomprehensible and frustrating. A company wants to earn money, right? For me, 3-4 weeks of gameplay would be reason enough to spend some money, but the bazaar design prevents this. I have about 4000 hours of playtime, so it’s just a short comeback every few months. In 3 weeks I won’t need it anymore. Of course, I could always pop in from time to time and stock up on things. But you never know how playable the next versions will be.
Funcom, I really like you and your games, at least shorten the … offer interval.

I swear the Zar bundle has been available several times. All the items in the bundle have also been available separately with the exception of the only items I’d like in that bundle.

My thoughts exactly. Pretty much any game I play or used to play that incorporates micro transactions has a “baiting page” with sales and discounts and another page that lists the entire rest of the purchasable items at full price.
But the CE Bazaar almost looks like FC either doesn’t want people to buy stuff, or as if the “monetization expert” they mentioned at the AoS reveal devstream is adamant about FOMO being THE best method for raking in cash ever known to man - or atleast good enough that you can ditch the very possibility to have someone buy something on a whim.
I don’t know how many times the bazaar rerolled just for me to see “allready owned” on most items or even every single item on offer and basically forced me to wait for days just to be able to buy anything - and I’m certainly no whale, I haven’t bought everything there is.
I barely look at the bazaar page. I basically forgot that it’s even there simply because when I see something I like and want to buy I can’t. Most of the stuff I wanted to buy early on I can’t even remember.
I get that FC doesn’t make money by selling the Items but by making you buy the Crom Coins. But if there’s no way to spend them, why should I stockpile CC to begin with? I’m currently sitting on ~500 CC. And I have absolutely no incentive to buy more. If I happen to see something I like on sale, I might, but that would require me to check the bazaar page every few days - which I won’t, because simply forget it’s there.
Agreed, I’ve posted a ton on the bazaar system needing revamping, even if it’s just the rollover period. With the amount of items they now have it’s greatly needed, otherwise players will miss out on things they want
