Same issue after this patch as I had after the last patch. Absolutely no clue how or why it suddenly started working a week after the last patch. Cannot ‘wait’ a week for whatever rando cache to clear. All of my claims and thralls are due to expire in the next day or two.

Deleted Conan, Installed Conan, Launched Conan, Deleted again, etc.

Thank you for the tip. That kinda helped track down my issue.

Looks like the “Funcom Launcher” is not initiating the Battle Eye service and starting it up for me. It shuts down, without an error log.

The “Bugly Launcher” however does launch Battle Eye, then loads up the game. I can get into single player mode, but of course that is not where I play. Funcom online keeps asking me to log into Funcom to get online.

Every time I try to log in to server 6108 Siptah the entire server goes down 9999. I am not the only one with this issue. Worked fine before the update and have played for years. Some people can log in but the minute myself or a few others try to log in the server crashes completely.

Indeed it is.

Did a steam-uninstall and started all the way from scratch. Battle-Eye just won’t load at all with the conansandbox interface on this system. I am at a loss. I can get Conan to load on my neighbors laptop however. It’s completely unplayable, but at least I can get into the servers.

Thank you for the additional information. By any chance, have you checked the options under the “Launch” button where it reads “More”?

Could you take a look and see if the “Disable BattlEye” one is checked on?

Indeed “Disable Battleeye” is default on load up.

When selecting “Install Battleeye”, Battleeye Launcher loads up, asks for credentials, accepts those credentials, and does nothing. The option goes back to “Disable Battleeye” in the launcher.

Note: Conansandbox.exe is running in the background. No movies splash screen or anything will come up, until…

I go into the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Binaries\Win64 folder and run ConanSandbox_BE.exe

That will actually install Battle Eye and run Conan as it should. However, when launching Conan from the launcher again, “Disable Battleeye” is always the default.

Lastly… Conansandbox.exe will not shut down when quitting the game. The game closes, but the exe is still running in the background. I need to force quit steam to close it out.

So far all of my issues from Conan Exiles post patches for the past ummm, what 4 years now, have all 100% been due to Battle Eye.

Still no luck on getting Battle-eye from “Disabled” to “Install Battle”. Even though it is installed and has a clear pathway through my firewall.
