Bug Description:
bugs get reported, reproduction is given, and no one fixes em (most of em) . some bugs has been around for years, heck even the bug report template is broken. in the meantime dune awakening gets a patch almost every 3 days. official servers becomes unplayable when they have 17 people on (out of 40) the complete disregard for the game that saved this company from bankruptcy is just ⦠hard to understand,. so , i think it must be a bug that infected the management at the company., communication is also non existant, it has to be a bug, because other wise no one here understands why is it so hard to come and drop a line or two every 4 to 5 days to say anything⦠to let people know this game has some attention. i dont want to believe the bug came from arrakis. but you never know.
Bug Reproduction:
find a bug report it, and see how nothing happens.
Hmmm I wonder why, maybe because itās new game being released today?
None the less I have to wonder why people are just now becoming aware of this. The way funcom manages, and communicates with us hasnāt changed in 5 years. In fact itās SOP for funcom, they have done it with every game to date, and I expect the dune community to start feeling ghosted with in 6 months.
The latest sacred hunt event is just so apropos for funcom. The announcement came for it long after we ll knew about it; or had read the thread that went up the minute it started. Should have been announce the day before, not the night after the event.
Iām beginning to think AndyB is the only person actually working on Conan, and itās not his day job.
yup, the thing that really ā ā ā ā ā ā me off is the lack of honesty, we all understand this is a 7 (8) year old game, a note saying were we are and how the game will be handled moving forward would have been perfect, so everyone knows what to expect.
last time we heard from @AndyB in a stream about the CE situation, he said they were incresing the size of the team, for Conan exiles, reality , does say that his comment was innacurate, (just to avoid to say a lie)
i will not be investing a dime in dune. not interested in rewarding htem for their lack of transparency and honesty.
Great bug report!
Honestly, I remember back when I was on PS4, there was a bug that lasted ca three months where you couldnāt even see who owned playersā bases. It just said āNo owner.ā Imagine taking three months to fix something that basic.
There are so many game-breaking bugs that people end up playing on private servers with active admins, just to avoid others abusing the broken systems.
And lets not get started on cheaters⦠Official PVP serverās are in good words fu*ked.
Funcom havenāt paid attention to bug reports in years, atleast it seems.
Yep⦠and they seem to have given up even trying to LOOK like they care about this game. I get being busy with Dune, but come on⦠is there a janitor at Funcom who could check in on us loyal players once in a while? Any random strangers who could drop in and man the fort?
I did a few level X purges today, all of them had cages with t4ās in them (coud see that later after the purges dissolved) but showed up as āemptyā. I have screenshots to prove.
Clubbed a T4 armorer, fell though the floor, that bug is there from the start, 7 !!! years ago.
And they took time off from developing new content (Chapters) supposedly so they could fix bugs⦠I think they meant bugs in Dune NOT Conan Exiles. I stayed away for ~ 6 months, missed the release of Settlements. When I came back, I started noticing the same old bugs Iād reported years ago. Now Iām ālivingā (experiencing) the Settlements bugs.
I get they need to make money to pay the bills and now TenCent, but me-thinks theyāre handling this way too poorly. Hell, there are items in the Bazaar Iād buy if the Bazaar would make them available. But you miss it once and it might as well be gone forever. Take some wage cuts Funcom, save some money, stop spending it as soon as it enters the bank, focus, Donāt be Bethesda, Please.
When Andy said way back during a devstream announcing the first battle pass with AoS he said āitās to help keep the lights onā. I like many lovers of CE assumed he meant for CE. By buying the CC, i thought i was putting money into future development to be returned in the form of new content so that even if players never spent an additional sime, theyd still get free content too. While they did put out new content but in each update half was broken and essentially āmissingā what was intended leaving us potatoes and no meat every chapter.
Then, they left us with bugs for months to years that crippled gameplay all while still expecting us to return to spend more without handing us due maintenance we begged for.
