I mean, come on, are you really okay with “no one’s hacking my private server, and I think I know more than I do about hacking in general, therefore this not a hack but a rogue Funcom admin on official servers”? well, i guess i just skipped over the parts where the fellows above said that the hacks were an ‘inside job’ from somebody at funcom, because those are so patently absurd. like, i dont get into logic arguments with the homeless preacher handing out “the world will end in 2012, have you got right with jeebus?” pamphlets in the mcdonalds parking lot for the same reason. absurdity like that is neither defensible or worth engaging in.

i am not defending the “funcom is real hacker” argument. that is so ridiculous it isn’t worth engaging in.
i would defend private servers and private server admins, as i find private servers way more fun to play on. while i am certain there is alot of fun to be had in public restrooms, playing conan exiles is not one of the sources of that fun in my book.
funcom wouldn’t give me the admin pass code and I asked really nice, even said please 
if they give it to you please turn off live settlements 
I will admit the thought that Funcom might be the ones selling the hacks crossed my mind. For 900 bucks a month that side hustle might make more than the bazaar…
