Do you not think for a minute that if people who play on Fury full time wanted to play on Crom that they would have transferred off already? everyone has the choice to transfer off albeit the paywall discourages it but nevertheless. Plenty of players will remain on Fury, myself included.
It is also not true. The last few months on Fury we went to T4, T3,5 raids every week. Coz T3,5 and T4 weapon is perfect for PvP especially if you haven’t PvP lvl 10.
Good for you i guess. Raids and pve content on Fury is rare I think we can both agree on that. There are some guilds who partake in this but they are few and far between.
Do you know which day has highest online on the Fury? It is not a 1st day of PvP Festival. It is every Monday, when ppl doing RF and it is a 1st day of WB fights.
Usually it varies. the PvP festival does bring out players as well as the world boss event. RF may be a thing that shows high activity during Eu prime time but not so for Na prime time. There are plenty of people who don’t care for PvE content on Fury. Myself included.
Crom have both parts - you can have PvE and PvP at the same time. Crom have like 5 times more PvP minigames. Often minigames running in the morning and nonstop in the afternoon, in the evening and at night. It has same PvP Festival fights like on Fury or may be better.
Except there is no world pvp. Do you know that i leveled a toon on zath server and was unable to get a shred of pvp the entire time until I reached level 80? Because of its lack of world pvp and ZERO low level minis. (I started late on zath)world pvp is important to players like me. You may not care for it but i and many like myself do.
The only thing that you can’t doing on Crom - it is PvP in the open world. That’s the question that is worth concentrating on.
EXACTLY And this is the problem in a nutshell. I don’t think you understand how high this issue is with pvp enthusiasts like myself. the sole reason for not playing on Crom. World PvP is EVERYTHING!
Give PvP players one or two locations on Crom where they can fight in the open world and the issue will be resolved.
Or, do it like fury where a daily zone is selected and pvp is opened for all. I would be content with this if a merge occurs in the future.
Anyway you not need full Open world PvP. How much players you killed in last 2-3 years on Fury in Thunder River, EM, Imir Pass, Aztel Approach, Paikang for example?
I think that in most cases I will have enough fingers on my hands to count these kills.
again as I leveled in zath I couldn’t pvp as II ran around questing. It took away from my enjoyment quite a bit not being able to attack random players. I could only watch them pass me by freely. where is the challenge in that? Sure griefing is a problem but random world pvp while leveling made it a nice diversion from the quest grind.
Sometimes it seems to me that we play on different servers.
I play mostly during NA prime time so if you play during EU prime time then it is safe to say we DO play on 2 different servers. NA and EU prime time are two sides of the same coin so to speak. Completely different worlds.
The last 3 years on Fury any PvP minigame could be played only in the evening in the prime time.
Sometimes it becomes unplayable at all which gives us a nice excuse to log off and do something else. not a big deal really when you consider how old this game is.
Is it “very active” in your opinion?
I wouldn’t say “Very”" but it is active enough to keep pvp enjoyable for the enthusiasts.
you desire all the content in aoc then feel free to play on Crom. but don’t try to force it down everyone elses throat ok bud? I hope I answered your questions in a thought provoking manner.
