My game worked perfectly until today’s small “hotfix” update (31/03/2021), which made the game no longer open right after the steam download automatically.
After the update, when I try to enter Sipta Island, I just can’t get the game to close before opening the map.
a lot of users have the issue of corrupted game files after EVERY single update with this game now (hurray even the patcher is broken) but this can be fixed by using steams verify integrity of gamefiles feature
I already used the verify integrity of gamefiles feature as soon as it gave the problem, and did not solve it, the sipta map loads but when it will open the error game.
The sad thing is that this happens with such a small hotfix, something so insignificant, they had already had several major updates since they changed the “devkit” and the game had no more problems after the update.
They must have messed up something wrong with that little update they hadn’t messed with before.
I am not sure what you mean by that, you can’t close the game before you open the map? Can you please provide some more details what exactly are you trying to do? Is your game crashing, do you get any error messages?
also try without mods, updates tend to break them
I don’t have any update from the 31th. Looks like some of your mods updated today.
