Game still freezes at shattered bridge (start area) still can't play game

this is the second I’m posting about this here. i still can’t play this game because every time i try to get near or go past the shattered bridge in the start area, the game becomes unplayable and freezes.
i have an AMD FX 9370 4.4GHz CPU, 16GB RAM, and a 1080 w/8GB onboard ram
i uninstalled and reinstalled the game after it left early access, i’ve messed with my resolution and other video settings. nothing helps or changes it. i’m now over the 2 hour time limit to get a refund of this game, so i just want a fix/patch so i can make this game function.

Game mode: Singleplayer
Problem: Crash | Bug | Performance | Misc

Repro steps:

  1. start a new character
  2. try to reach shattered bridge
  3. game freezes/becomes completely unplayable

Start the game open task manager with ctrl alt and delete go to details tab and look for Conansandbox. Exe left click and click on set affinity then untick the bottom four cores then close task manager and that may work, if you have a 6 core amd cpu just unstick the bottom 2 hope this helps
