Every time I try to run the game, I get into an endless loop at the screen asking me to “press any button”. It will then very briefly say “logging in” and then immediately go back to the “press any button”. I have tried disabling my firewall, checking the connection with other games (all of which work perfectly fine), restarting my machine, uninstalling and reinstalling, and nothing works! Please help, I really wanna try the game out (this is a PC Xbox Game Pass game).

Hey,
I had the same issue. There is a login window that has popped up under the game and needs you to confirm that you want to let Xbox game pass login and access your account. Minimize the game and you should see the pop up.

I have this same issue and have literally tried every single Xbox for PC fix there is, on the entire internet…
Microsoft support told me “this seems like an issue with the game, contact the developer”… and ENDED THE CHAT.
The whole login screen pops up for me, but it says “You can’t be signed in right now, try again later”…
All other games work perfectly fine, and Mutant Year Zero Demo works fine through GOG Galaxy.
I uninstalled and am currently re-downloading the game…

Open Xbox game pass and click the profile option at the to right > settings > account > sign in. You should see XGP signing you in after that.
Hope this helps. The dev has given horrid support regarding this issue. That’s why I haven’t purchased the game and am simply trying it out on XGP.
