I turned off my xbox one X yesterday where everything seemed fine, today game won’t even get to the first loading screens and closes.

I had restarted it, but I turned it off, and pull the power cable, then… (happened twice)

For some reason Conan Exiles took too long to start. (0x8027025a)

I’ve tried my other games to make sure it isn’t the xbox itself, but every single one of the games needs updates. I will report later on when I have another one to test.

Next I will try to delete an re-download

Still downloading (25%) but now the game loads as usual. So it might have been something on my side, though no DLC (including Siptah) has been started yet.

If I encounter more issues, I will report.

I am glad you can start again.

This is a typical behaviour on Conan exiles, especially with HDD
When a download is in the pipe, that targets the HDD where CE is installed, the hdd is to busy to start CE in time. I had this error often when I was on XBox One X. After a few times I realized this dependency. So dont worry, if it will not start, check if an update is running (as you did already)…
Tip: If you urgent want to play your game, and the download affects another one, you can simple pause all downloads. Then you can play without waiting for the updates. But it is better to invest the time and allways keep your games updated, the more if you have many BIG games, where an update can take 50GB or more.
