Game World Freezing when opening inventory screen

Bug Description:
Recently came back to the game with the newest big patch of Age of War to play through again. On and off with my buddy in two player co-op (Online). When playing the game normally, either in Single Player or online Co-Op, my game will randomly ‘lock up’ the game world whenever I enter any form of inventory screen. (Storage, benches, Thrall, player, ect…). The inventory menu will still be interactable and I can select items and move, split, stack or craft anything in these menus. But I cannot leave the menu itself and the whole game world itself freeze. I do not know what causes it and I’ve tried reinstalling, verifing files, removing and readding mods to no avail. It also has not happened to my friend once yet. As of typing this, this has happen four times in within an hour and is becoming frustrating and making me not want to contine playing.

Bug Reproduction:

Open any inventory screen. (Benches, Thrall, Player, Storage, ect…)and it will sometimes freeze the game world, cause a soft lock and force a Alt+F4 Reset. Reproducability seems to be random and can happen multiple times within an hour or not at all over multiple hours.

Can you turn off your mods to see if this is still happening?

Good afternoon. Thanks for responding. I have tried moving mods around and I haven’t had the issue pop up yet since, but if it doesn happen again, I will try an extended play though without mods to see what happens. Thank you!

It would be good if you could narrow it down to one or two mods that mess with inventory. That means turning them off one by one, or start all one by one, likewise.

It is the biggest problem/freeze I have with the game. I’ve tolerated it, but it would be nice if it was fixed. Simply, the inventory windows are stuck in a kinda synchronous lock. It won’t show anything until it goes asynchronous, again.

Good evening. I seemed to still be getting the bug and I have turned off all mods.

Link above is showing the bug in action. (You’ll need to add the dots to finish the URL) The world state is frozen completely (My character is not doing any idle animation in the back) but I can still intereact and move stuff between inventories, albiet in a bug form.

Set your inventory to No sorting on both panels, see if that helps
