Giving up (bugs + death = bored)

Well friends, I give up.

I tried to do some building today since thrall hunting was a bust and everywhere I went, I couldn’t put down more than five foundations in a row before I got the “Building here would block your spawn point” error.

Checked the stability. I’m building directly upon flat solid earth.

Tried rotating. Can’t do it with that error.

Tried destroying and rebuilding and that didn’t work.

Same with teleporting away and coming back.

And to top it all off, my favourite thrall appears to have dissolved into the ground because whilst the map indicates she’s right there, she’s nowhere to be found.

I really hope that when the new patch drops it’ll fix a lot of this.

Its been a fun few weeks, but it’s time to walk away. At lvl 57 I seem to have hit a wall where enemies are either easily massacred or insanely lethal indestructible killing machines . And now I can’t build and my thrall is glitching out.

Thank you all very much for your help. You made a newb feel welcome. :beers:

Probably a good thread for the General group.

Conan is a great game for short bursts of fun. I come and go every 6 months or so, when new content is out, to make the return interesting and fun. After you do all the dungeons, explore everything outside on the map, make a few awesome bases and learn all the recipes, it quickly loses the appeal to log in each day. I’ve mostly hit that point again, after a month of pretty great fun… but there is the new land expansion to Siptah that should appear on testlive any day now. So I’m sticking around to give it a good test and discover fun new bugs.

Sorry you ran into your issues that frustrated you so much, but sometimes just a server restart will solve some of those rally strange things. Take a few days off and check back later and it might be ok again. Also, maybe place a new bedroll somewhere to see if that fixes the spawn point error? I don’t know if this is a known bug or not. Just the first thing that comes to mind.
