What would happen if people where to start crafting Gohlems in the private PVE servers to crash them often, would Funcom then consider disactivating Gohlem crafting?? This is just a question. What is everyone’s thoughts opinion? Let open the discussion.

3590 keeps getting crashed by Golen IQ clan. Crafting Golhems. FUNCOM if you don’t remove Gohlem from game I and many others will consider going to paid private PVE servers to craft Gohlems. Make our money paid for this game worth it. Stop ignoring the situation we are 20 + annoyed players of your incompetence to resolve the situation.

I totally agree with you. Golems are one of the most useless things added to conan, the only things they cause are lags and now server crash + they can be made invincible. Better removing them completely from the game.

What in the Croms name makes you think that private servers have costumer services fellow exile?
You have no Idea what you’re saying here and your way of thinking is extremely poor and totally out of reality. I can reassure you that Funcom takes absolutely no place on issues of private servers, since these are Gportal costumers and not Funcoms.
And guess how Gportal solves issues?
Total wipes !

About the Golem issues i agree, they need fixing period. I really hope the upcoming update will change this problem.

There was a recent post that is now removed also suggesting a similar coup.
Except after a few comments, the conclusion is that all that would do is hurt the dwindling playerbase that are already at their wits end and not have the desired result.
All this will do is cause admins to go to GPortal, whom they would be customers of, but in turn GPortal will probably just tell them to report the issue to FC.
And guess what will happen?

In the past while playing on private PvP servers we got plenty wipes from Gportal for reasons even admins couldn’t understand. Of course the rental owners had to authorise the wipe , since it was impossible for the server to start, it couldn’t load after the refresh.
Private servers do not have special treatment from Funcom, in the contrary they have no treatment at all and Gportal never actually helped with issues.
@sestus2009 owns servers since 2018 . Ask him how many times Gportal helped him with issues.

Report and patience i say, stop pressing. What history has shown is that whenever they got pressed they fixed a mistake with another one .
Hint .
If you have a solution don’t apply it , but suggest something that will guide them to it . Give a rough Idea, a guidance and let them follow this path if they wish. Because in the end of the day the solution must come out of their mind not ours. We are here to inspire, not to order. Understand this minor detail and you’ll get all you wish in this game.

Do i have to remind you the sword of Crom fix ? Or the elephant tower fix ? Or many other fixes that end up having more useless items or features in the game?
All i said is to take their time to really fix it, that’s all .

It wasn’t directed at you specifically, rather at the idea of getting rid of golems or even features in general.
I mean.. does it even matter? They are in the game. Removing them isn’t the way to go forward, that’s the exact opposite.

If you’re saying that by renting private server space with GPortal that hits FC financially that would be wrong. GPortal is a separate company from FC with a deal for private server availability on consoles and Official servers on all.
If you want money to talk: convince everyone who buys from the BLB to abstain. IMO this would be the most effective message but has the possible side effect of causing financial viability decisions for the studio.
Another method is to organize but coming from someone who has experience in this: the CE player community is divided into many insular sub communities that all have different concerns and perspectives.
Solo players being the highest population. So most solo players probably are not going to care about golem crashing on Official servers. If you affect the Private server community, they would be less likely to stand in any solidarity with trying to convince FC to do anything and rather just blame the Official server players for crashing. Even then, assuming that there’s active admins they’ll simply ban you and roll back, dusting their hands of the attempt at unrest.
Do not get me wrong here, I hate it that the game is in this state. There is no logical excuse that is acceptable for this lack of care. I wish I could play on PVP again, being free of hackers that plague PC and the many exploits that affect gameplay. So I am 100% with you in the frustration and disgust.
But let’s not make it harder for everyone else, nevermind that it would be fruitless, but just serve to make our fellow players annoyed.

If fixing was the solution it would have been done, they can’t fix it so YES removed the feature. Done / resolved till you can really fix it.

They dont know how to fix it, Therefore; REMOVE IT TILL YOU GET A SOLUTION, REMOVE IT SO THE GAME DONT CRASH WHEN YOUR PLAYING!!! REMOVE THE FEATURE. that’s how you fix it today! You know im starting to wonder if some of these replies to keep.it asnos are from Funcom employee.

Clearly you have only just started playing the game. Just because Funcom does not fix something, does not mean that it is in any way difficult for them to fix. With previous errors, it has been shown that it was a single entry in a single table that they made a mistake on. Xevyr (among others) provided them with every single step they would need to fix it - which tavble, which line, which number, what the number should be corrected to. It still took them a year or more to make the fix.
Funcom does not fix things even when they are easy. You screaming like a child at other users does not change that. You falsely accusing people of being Funcom employees does not change that.
People do not want features removed from the game, because that is not a fix. People want fixes.

A purge without them is as boring as hell.
Killing Golems grand you or your thralls really good xp
Crafting Golems on the bench is giving you a ton of XP if you’re not 60
Some people are using them to gather materials for them
Some people raid with them
Some people fix base defense based on golems
Some people find reasons to play with golems and it makes them happy…it’s all i need mate to support the existence of golems in this game.
We lost enough from troll behaviour in this game. When it’s the time to say enough is enough @lanier67 ?
Regardless if we like or use a mechanic, if it’s going to be lost from troll behaviour again, good players will loose also. We should not allow this anymore!

Dude, our server is plagued with golem crashes, purge griefing and admin hack attacks.
I lost all my thralls 2 weeks ago, which I had for years to an admin hack attack and so did many more from our server.
Enough is really enough.
I get your points, although there are some less for pve and pve-c
and sorry the mats gathering with golems is a total joke, in quantities and that they only gather when a player is near

Being able to shut down a server when ever you want is absolutely dumb as hell. Having immortal golems dont help either. Temporarily removing golems is a fix until a solution can be found. If not why not just crash all the servers if funcom is OK with it
