Gold coins have vanished from my inventory, chests, and can’t make them at casting table the ability to produce gold coins is gone.

so I lost gold coins when I wanted to buy a named thrall at the bar, who cost 500 but I only hab 280 or so…280 gone with a click.
Is this on an official server? Offline/solo? Private modded server? Have you checked your event log to see if there was any mention of your gold coins decaying or anything?
I am only asking these question so that perhaps you can provide more information for others to see if this is happening to them as well and possibly open a bug report on this issue.
Are you sure nothing made you lose the ability to make them, like “server reset”, console updates, reinstalls, etc ?
It’s on PvE server 3534. This is 2 days in a row. Can’t make gold coins at casting table and all my coins vanished from my inventory and chests. Over 1k today. Nothing in event logs. I don’t know how much went missing. I just took 4k out of my purge base, and it vanished out of my inventory. I reset the game and did a hard reboot of my ps5. I lost at least 4 million in coin. This is rediculous.
Losing the ability to craft coins would not make coins already in existence disappear. You don’t need to be able to craft them to find them in chest and start hoarding them for example. Though a reset of knowledge could explain the loss of being able to craft them currently.
Experienced same thing losing coins when trying to purchase a thrall without the correct amount of coins. Event log shows nothing about the coins decaying or deleting. Official server on PS5
This also happened to me (PS5 Singleplayer), I think I lost some coins but I definitely didn’t have a way to make them until I logged back in. You are not alone lol.
