In short terms: Golems can’t benefit from well-trained perk because they cannot heal. When a golem is put on follow, their health bar increases but they don’t gain, and are indeed incapable of gaining, the missing health.
I consider this to be a lapse in golem design.
This isn’t entirely true as golems have a unique mechanic and they do benefit from well trained in a specific way, just not the HP gain I guess.
They still gain the other benefits of “Well Trained”.
