Grey lotus seeds dont seem to work (grow). and info says they are powder.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
1.place seed in planter
2.place in potent compost
3.wait.
4.nothing

Sorry to hear that issue, and I have not experienced it, but if I may ask a few questions I could try to replicate it.
First, you did not mention if you are using a G-Portal server or hosting a public server from your home.
Secondly, are there any mods or is it vanilla?
Third, does the interface show a plant growing near the bottom right?
Silly question, but since you stated the info says they are powder, do you see the seed icon?
Other than that (questions that were not on the original form), good report, especially since it is your first time.

In advance of your answers, I tried to replicate this in solo and was not able to. Everything appears normal,
I do not have any grey lotus seeds on hand in my private online server (I am not admin), so when you have time to reply, I can farm a few and try the same there.

Did you throw the seeds in a grinder first?
