I read in a couple of old posts that the guardian counterstrike skill has a heal effect that when you take damage you heal, the more mobs around you the more you heal, but when I use the skill I see no incoming healing is this something that needs to be specced or is it just not in game anymore?
You need the end feat “Juggernaut” to get the healing effect.

strange, I have that specced and fighting wolves and I see no incoming heals.
The heal is 48 hp per hit you take from melle while counterstrike effect is up
