As the topic,
I noticed that the heavy set from the base game is made with iron ingots and not with steel anymore…
Is it a bug?
Been that way since the game left Early Access, if I remember correctly
Yeah, it’s pretty much always been made with iron.
Wouldn’t make much sense for it not to be since it clearly has metal in it.
Except if you read the actual descriptions of some of those pieces, they explicitly talk about being made of steel.

Maybe its non-magnetic and normal bars are magnetic so they have to be processed into steel during the manufacturing process…
It is not a bug, they changed it since the update which introduced armor linings

Has NOT always been that way. Heavy armor used to require STEEL, it was reduced to needing Iron awhile back.
