The fact they only decided NOW to start trying to fix incredibly glaring issues, while still also avoiding support for the issues people have had with every single update introducing new features that don’t work? How does Funcom have the gall to try and release Dune like it’s going to be a different story? This game was only made fun by mods that they begrudgingly support, mods that attempt to fix the horrible glitch that is Conan Exiles, and with every aspect of the game failing - from the two new companions (you guys can’t have a player on two quests at the same time? REALLY?) to rubber-banding and terrible optimization - I beg you to tell me how Dune is going to be any different. Countless support questions unanswered and closed due to inactivity, bugs that have been allowed through despite reporting during testing, no explanations for console commands; even from the unofficial wiki! The public has enabled these garbage companies to set this kind of standard, and it’s a crying shame. Thanks for contributing to the problem with modern gaming, Funcom, and I hope this capitalistic system crumbles down with the rest of you.

You do know that Funcom has supported Mods for Conan Exiles since Early Access right? That is kinda the complete opposite of “begrudingly”. In fact, they have been rather vocally in support of modding since day one.

Except when they make a ton of modders quit trying to get access to the devkit, but that might also just be incompetence. Vocally supporting mods and failing to actually support modders are two different things. But yeah, ignore the rest of the post.
