How hard are Siptah Vault bosses?

If I understand things correctly, the Specialist Cooking recipes, found outside in a lot of convenient places on Exiled Lands, are only available as final boss drops in Vaults on Siptah.

We are still leveling up (I’m 50 and my wife is 44) and we only have Accursed Fighter I’s as followers so this is what we would be taking into battle. What level should we be in order to fight Vault bosses on Siptah, and which ones should be be tackling early on?

Thanks for any insights or suggestions.

I can say that upgrading your thralls is not very difficult. If you go to a few smaller Accursed camps, two players with tier one thralls could capture an Accursed Fighter III, with a small to medium chance of casualties. But capturing one tier three Accursed is a good stepping stone towards capturing more, and graduating to capturing Berserkers. Leyshine of The Goblinoid located in G8 is a guaranteed spawn location for Berserkers, with a few low tier fighters and random crafters around as well.

Purple lotus orbs are an easy cheese KO. You just throw them instead of smacking thralls with a truncheon. As you get more experienced though you’ll learn how to kite and separate to remove the rest of the threats in a camp to get the thrall you want.

If you’re trying to minmax your thrall levels always start off with easy prey and work your way up in enemy difficulty as your thrall levels. But otherwise, just ensure they always have a lot of food. An epic kit and legendary weapon makes the biggest difference in survivability aside from ensuring they have food to heal.

The vault bosses are not very hard. But for someone who is still learning it can still be a challenge. I find monsters like rockslide, blood moon beast or the Judge to be way more difficult.

They are available from surges. The higher the surge the better the chance.

Leyshrine of the Goblinoid is in fact exactly where we picked up our two Accursed Fighter 1’s. Where’s the best place to try to capture an Accursed Fighter III?

I’ll do some research to see where those bosses are and avoid them until we are a bit more advanced. Meanwhile, which Vaults would you recommend we start with at our level (50 and 44, with an Accursed Fighter 1 for each of us)? We don’t have great kits yet, I’m still learning my way up in Armorsmithing and we try to outfit our Thralls with the best heavy sets we find. I’m told that 1H Mace is the way to go for weapons for these guys, do you agree? Thanks much, Kikigirl.

The goblin vaults are easiest and I do agree that 1H maces are best ^^

A good place or two, the northern side of Rabid Milly’s Camp has two fighter spawns that patrol a good distance from it, basically by themselves. But there is also a Yakith patrolling along the north side with them. It’s rng, but tier three fighters can spawn from those two spawn points.

It turns out Leyshrine of the Goblinoid has everything we needed. We got our two Accursed Fighter I’s there, and very soon picked up some II’s. Just tonight I got my first III, tomorrow we get another for my wife. Meanwhile, we’ve had to kill something like 4 Berserkers there in order to KO the others. They are apparently a guaranteed spawn there. We’ll be picking a couple of those soon. Very nice spot and it’s a very nice progression.
