How long to progress companion quests?

started both quests 6 hours ago now and neither will progress after they are supposed to seek out the player to continue.

the update notes say they are multi day. are we talking in game multi day, or very much designed for official servers almost 100% uptime you can interact with the companion quest once a week multi day??

its taking so long its not even worth it, i could have captured and broken hundreds of other thralls in that time if i really wanted to.

either the quests take an ungodly amount of time to continue or they arent finished by a long shot, it took literally 2 minutes to progress each quest to the point theyre at or theyre both bugged / broken

Second part of the quests just started for me. Did the first part yesterday evening, so it might be once per day. Will check this evening as well.

I believe it is progressing every 10-12 hrs for me. After the first day I had it open for 8 hrs and nothing happened came back the next morning (real life) and both quests progressed. Got off and opened it back up late at night and both quests progressed again.

I have no idea how long it takes. I tried adjusting day/night speed to no effect, so it must be IRL time gated.

That said, I killed a boatload of elks with Freya and she is still saying she needs to kill elk, and won’t leave her bonfire. I got to the exact same point of her quest chain both times that I created a character to test it, and haven’t felt motivated to create e third.
