I am beyond anger. GAME LOCKUP CAUSING PC TO LOCK UP

It never really stopped happening.
There is NOTHING I can do.
I can’t do one damned thing with it.
I can’t get any reports. NOTHING.
WHY???
BECAUSE THE DAMNED GAME HAS LOCKED UP AND CAUSED MY PC TO LOCK UP.
I HAVE TO SHUT THE POWER OFF. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY.
FORCING A POWER OFF SHUTDOWN IS THE ONLY WAY.
I CAN’T GET ANY ERROR REPORTS. I CAN’T GET JACK.
IT RESETS EVERYTHING.

DON’T YOU GET IT???

THIS IS THE ONLY DAMNED GAME THIS HAPPENDS.

I’M FED UP.

I am uninstalling everything. The game from my PC and the server software from MY SERVER.
IF I COULD GET MY DAMNED MONEY BACK, I WOULD DO IT.
I know damned well you got you’re money’s worth.
THIS BS IS NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE AND THE HEADACHES IT’S CAUSING ME.
IT IS NOT WORTH THE DAMAGE IT IS DOING TO MY SYSTEM.
MY SYSTEM COST ME 30 X MORE TO BUILD THAN IT COST TO BUY THIS GAME.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

The screen froze. It happens.

It may cause damage to the pc if you shut it down without a backup, but that’s an fyi you likely already know.

As for the damage it is doing to your system, it shouldn’t be damaging it directly.

Have you checked the system requirements and if your drivers are up-to-date? I assume you have and it isn’t the only thing which may cause a screen freeze like the one you had.

If possible, could you explain what you were trying to do before it happened?

You may find that after a fresh install the game may be playable again (since you already removed it anyways). It is worth trying, but you don’t have to. It could help to resolve similair issues in the future if you do though.

100%

Big games like Conan Exiles (CE) have to make big demands on PC/RAM. All games occasionally freeze up and need to be closed via Taskmanager (in Windows).

If CE has a brain-freeze, I have learned to get out of it, verify the install via Steam (takes a while). Close Steam. Reopen CE. If there’s an issue, remove all mods (if there) and try again. If not working, reinstall CE (never had to get that far), etc.

The player above does not give all the circumstances that cause the issue so no help there. On Official? Modded? Server RAM? Free space available on PC? Internet connection speed? Country? etc.

Oh well, hopefully it all worked out for them
