I need to learn

Can some please explain to me what the purge is. What is purge for.
And how to make a purge happen ? What do you get out of it?

The purge has been revamped to mean that the Stygian army is attacking your base to recover their treasures from what you have gathered in the Exile Lands.

In order to trigger a purge, you must place a Coffer, built with a construction hammer from the CLAN section. You then must place gold and other treasures into the coffer, or place decorative treasures in the area, which will be obvious when you go to place them.

Treasures are found all over the map, in chests and NPC inventories. They will say TREASURE in the description, and can be tooth necklaces, carved bones, etc. Placeable treasures include gilded plates, braziers, urns, etc. Large treasures are chests, cat statues, and dragon statues, found in the Mounds/New Asagarth, the Black Galleon, and the jungle (Ape city being the best spot). Large treasures are bulky and difficult to carry, but are worth 5000.

Once you have at least something in your coffer, you will see a threat level, 1-10, 1 being the easiest. You Proclaim Wealth, and the army builds a base near you coffer base, and they attack.

I recommend you watch a Youtube video or two about the mechanics. @Wak4863 and @Eradicati0n have some good ones.

And remember, it’s all fun and games until the wave of naked prisoners shows up.

That’s how it’s supposed to be.

There are some fine necked women in that wave, and I do not enjoy cutting them in half.

For the non-Southerners
Naked - You have no clothes on
Necked - You have no clothes on, and you’re doing something

Okay, I can sympathize with this, kind of. In the heat of the battle I have no problem cutting them in half, but when looting the bodies I feel a vague sense of something precious going to waste.
