What if we could use duplicates of a recipe to craft that item 8nstead of just bec9ming dropped loot or stored in a chest junk?
Basically use the schematics idea of 5 = 1.
.So if you have 5 duplicates of a recipe and 1 schematic, you can craft the item in the appropriate station. You would have to have knowledge of the item 1st. Just throwing it out there because i have a chest full of voidforge recipes.
Or… Put the recipe you don’t need in the dismantling bench and take a schematic fragment back . Tbh it would be better if we took 2 SF, but I can live with just one too, why not.
I’m with @stelagel on this one. With the way that the crafting menu is designed, crafting individual recipes that you’re looking for would clutter up the menu beyond belief. Dismantling bench, on the other hand, seems perfect. We already have schematics, so lets put them to use elsewhere.
A similar version of this idea was suggested in the past @biggcane55, but I cannot recall when or by who. But the point for me as it was then, is that I unequivocally support this idea. Very large numbers of the player base have expressed their frustration with RNGesus, and frankly it keeps me from playing the Isle of Siptah with any regularity. +1 from me.
If I may be bold and suggest an expansion of your idea: what if we were able to put recipes through the Dismantling Bench and each recipe provided one Schematic Fragment. Then we could draw upon the existing system and the numbers which you have suggested above; 5 = 1 so five Schematic Fragments assemble into a new recipe?
EDIT- apologies @stelagel. I did not read you post beforehand, and it appears that we had the same idea.
And could you tell us how exactly he is supposed to achieve this outcome and stop the game from giving him duplicate recipes, ask the game nicely…!? In this world there are things we can control and things which we can not control. A random number generator falls into the latter category.
Tbh I am more in this… At the beginning of the game, when I didn’t knew Siptah I went to the tower without fragments and I watched the items floating above the knowledge pillars. I was very happy that I was going to take what I need and not f… g rng again… If I only knew .
