identification error

10 players play without errors
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

All modifications on the server are updated
All modifications are installed from the steam workshop.
All modifications are installed on the client PC
Other players can play on the server without any problems.
Modifications have been before
Modifications do not conflict with each other

Client turned off and on mods
Client Removed mods from the list
Client unsubscribed from mods in steam
The client deleted the mods folder and installed the mods folder from another player who does not have such a problem

Sinester, In the client, under Gameplay tab, do you have “Automatically Subscribe and Download Mods” checked?
If yes: Try - Open Steam, go to Conan Exiles - go to Workshop - go to Your subscribed items.
Unsubscribe and resubscribe to each mod. Allow each mod to fully download prior to moving to the next mod.
Then try connecting to the server. You may get a ModMismatch Error and the game will close. Wait a few seconds and the game should reboot itself and at that point you should be able to connect.
I have seen this happen when a mod refuses to update through steam. Unsubscribing and resubscribing will tyipcally fix it.
Make sure the “AutoSubscribe and Download” check box is checked in your client.

Shorter solution:

  1. Throw computer out window
  2. Repair window
  3. Bug fixed

Seriously, Cortex has some good advice concerning mods. I would suggest going a step further and unsubscribing from every mod, validating your local files and starting a single-player game to see if there are any inconsistencies. Make sure you are still logged into Steam well before starting the session.

If you have problems you may have eliminated mods as a cause and we can go from there. Could Identification error translate to Validation error? That sort of leads to Steam.

Hey . i have read this and your Arent allone 3 People i know have same issue. cant join A G-Portal Server or Official.
We tried to helped with deinstall mods , Restart Server and Reinstall Conan Exiles and more Nothing workes…. Just alway that autentification fail.
Does someone have a Answer to this?
