I’ve alpha tested games with the developer right there in chat, still took a day. That was a setting error or something similarly as easy to fix. Like when some one forgot to turn on thrall decay.
That is the flukiest of flukes.
I’ve tested/beta’d several games… From live on server to Early Disc Tests.
Seen them bring server down instantly to fix it. Or put up notice “insert time server is being brought down” aka hour or 2 from now.
Seen stuff get reported and they sit on it for months as community questions WTF.
Seen more small developers quick fix stuff on the go, cause there right there with you.
Seen a 2 man team take months to fix a storage chest not lining up on a boat. But then take 3 days to fix fish amounts… XD
I remember pointing out some issue back on a PSP game, none of it was super bad… just passed over it.
Some bugs… just weird me out. Starfield and Cyberpunk… Single Player games, and they went Ham on stopping player from making quick money. WTH…
Funcom i’ll never let go on crouch/jump during building bug staying in game for 5-6months?
We got updated end of year? they leave for vaction, took damn near till spring to fix.
Right now, I keep trying to start work bench by pressing r2, and its not prompt any more. Pissing me off to no end…
Different games are different. Different scenarios are different. Different bugs are different.
