Impossible to play the game

Bug Description :

When I try to play the game by clicking on “Launch” from the Funcom launcher, I am unable to connect to the game. I have checked the game files through Steam, and I have also reinstalled the game without mods, but I still encounter the same issue. And this has been happening since the latest major update of the game “Age of War Chapter 3”.

Bug Reproduction :

As soon as I install the game again, I can’t play it. I click on ‘play’ from Steam, which sends me to Funcom’s luncher, and when I click on ‘launch’ from Funcom, Steam loads and then stops, offering me the chance to play the game again. No tasks are running when I check my task manager and the processes in progress.

When you did the reinstall did you actually go to and delete the Conan folder on your PC?

Steam library/steam apps/ common. Your game files/saves are not deleted in a reinstall, so your fresh install will just be using your old saves/settings.

No you wont be losing games on public or private servers, but single player???

I also reinstalled the game by deleting the Conan folder. But the problem persists.

(I did two reinstallations, one without deleting the Conan file, and the second by deleting the Conan file.)

In order to attempt to solve your issue, have you tried to go to the game’s folder, find the .exe file and launch the game through it?

I’ve just tried to access my folder to launch the .exe file, but the problem persists… Once I click on “Launch” my game on Steam tells me that I can “Stop” the launch as if the game was going to launch, but it ends up telling me after a few seconds that I can play it as if the game had never been launched.

That won’t work, have the same issue.

To launch the game correctly.

Go to X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Binaries\Win64\

Then run “ConanSandbox_BE.exe”
