In game reporting system

I care how high you build, you might get on a horse and jump over the green wall…

Anyway, it’s a problem if you do fixed size, because your favorite spot might work like that.
But if I want to build a base that goes sideways (if I can call it like this) because the enviroment is build like that, you are limited which means less spots to build for a clan in general.

I have seen large structures blocking large areas, and that was one reason I ditched that server and returned to the one I began with.

  1. So developers have to code this for you, while this is an option of the game?!
  2. Why do you report this, what is your vision about this? Isn’t this an objective for you/clan to turn it the other way around? What do you expect, if for a while no new players joins the server…you get bored and start building more to be the Alpha for example and I don’t get why this should be adjusted?!
  3. You like your save space in an open world survival game…?

They have the follower-limit, so why not a base-limit? It doesn’t matter how the area is shaped, as long as the square-meters are below a set limit. You want an elongated base? That’s perfectly fine. You want two bases? Then decide which one is more important in size. It’s not difficult to code this, as the follower-limit sets a precedence.

They have the follower-limit, so why not a base-limit?

They can, but this might influence the game to much. I don’t like it if they do this. Limiter on thrall was great idea but not as per player but per clan or total.

Again, Funcom shows with this choice that PvP is about playernumber vs playernumber and not the actual skills. But this again, they didn’t start making this game from the point of view of FPS (starting third person and bring the camera in the head, so you can see your body). They instead reward you when you immediately make a clan with 10 people and spam your base with 55x10 (right?)= 550 thralls which you have to beat if you are a clan of 2 persons with 110 thralls.

No we are a bunch of girls trying to have fun and your ruining the gaming experience the new rules do not allow you to block off major parts of the game and that is considered a major part of the game it is not your base it’s a thrall wheel and you blocked that on off when we started to attack you and I apologize that you feel we are spreading lies but we are not as I said the server has sent in lots of photos and it doesn’t matter because until you all are taken care of I will not be coming back to that server

Than don’t play pvp lmao I don’t get it y’all lie on this forum trying to get us banned without any proof hahaha because we don’t cheat and I’m sure if u crafted five bombs u could access that obb so don’t cry just cause u don’t want pvp in a pvp server on a barbarian survival game lol

Imperium tribe is meshing on that server so is evil returns so y’all dumb for reporting us the admin is going to come to the server see we’re 100% legit and there going to find y’all’s mesh spots and ban y’all makes no sense lol

Oh, absolutely. For a long-term strategy, investing into quality is a good plan. They’ve stated that they intend to keep supporting Conan Exiles. However, investors tend to want to see short-term profits in addition to promises for long-term gains, which has led to the ruination of many good games and game companies.

The owners need to decide how much they’re willing to invest into making the product better, and how to prioritize “better”. Anti-cheating is only one of the issues that are eneded for Conan Exiles. The whole game engine would benefit from an update. It would cost a lot but would probably increase the longevity of the game significantly, enabling more future updates and additions to the core game. But it’s a matter of “do we believe the money we invest into this now will yield more profits in the future?”

Tencent sees Funcom as a profitable investment. It doesn’t mean they see all of Funcom’s current products as worth investing more into.

But I’m getting sidetracked here. Apologies for that. My main point is, let’s wait for a few weeks to a few months and see whether the new rules and upcoming anti-cheating mechanics start working. If they manage to crack down on a sufficient number of cheaters and griefers so that trying to find new ways to cheat won’t be worth the risk trouble, we may see the player base get healthier when people can start focusing on building communities rather than just hunt down (or survive) cheaters.

So it’s possible Tencent doesn’t need to throw sacks of money at the problem.

They’ll never throw more money at Conan Exiles now. The only thing they’re going to do is to add more content; DLC’s, maps etc. Return on the investment. I think you’re wrong if you think they’ll make huge changes this late in the game. It doesn’t pay.

It is obvious that any reporting system wont work on pvp servers as it will just turn into subpar players and clans trying to get Funcom to ban alpha clans that have superior skills and/or numbers.

We had a couple of clans try to do this with us recently with numerous absolutely baseless accusations. They were even contacting steam to try and get us vac banned. All to no avail. We dont cheat… We just dont suck at playing…

So now the gloves are off. We dont let anyone build up on the server anymore. We wipe anyone and everyone and let Crom sort them out.

No it does not actually. Not until we see something substantial like the new map.

Tencent hasnt done anything yet except buy a company.

Just happenend in April (something like that) and you expected direct money without any good thought about the strategy that (in this case) doesn’t come in a fingersnap.

I dont expect anything from tencent for a year. The map is probably already made before the take over.

You were the one who brought up $$$.
