Hi there, unfortunately Funcom can’t offer to replace lost gear and resources. As for the server lodge a proper support ticket as the chances of anyone acting on this are slim without it.
They don’t typically, but putting in a ticket to zendesk could result in a rollback of your character from the previous server reset. This would lose all progress from the current day, but you’ll have anything that was in your inventory at the time of reset (including armor, weapons, items, etc.). This doesn’t include lost thralls, xp, or anything not directly attached to your person (bases, placeables already placed, items not on you, etc.) They’ll only consider this, however, if they’re at fault. In this case, you may be able to plea for a rollback. So that being said, he’d only get back his equipment and anything he was carrying. He’s SOL on his lost thralls.
I feel for you I moved away from a pve-c a few years ago when they struck trouble. More likely this particular server just needed a simple reboot hence the quick response time.
