I would love to see a return of the [none] filter for the inventory crafting panel. This feature of the UE4 game hide all of the craftables from the DLCs, Bazaar, and Battle Passes; leaving only the base vanilla game items on display.
Iād rather have them overhaul that whole part of the interface.
They should add
- proper grouping by tier and style, sorted by weight
- filter by armor / weapon tier, weight, and stat
Right now itās a complete mess.
Also, they should overhaul the gear progression: Itās a bit ridiculous that the Perfected Steel reward beats unlocks that are only available 10 level higher.
HELL YES - 1,000,000,000% agree!
Also agree completely that gear progression is an absolute mess - has been for a long time. When you compare it to the almost clinical, gated gear progression in games like Valheim or Beyond the Map or V Rising, where thereās a clearly mapped out. methodical progression system in place⦠Conan, the best game of all of them for my money, is just a random grab bag. The journey step rewards are very haphazard too. Some rewards are OP, others are pitiful. And little logic to be seen anywhere. Makes it very hard to feel a sense of gradual achievement from gearing up gradually. There is no gradually unless youāre playing for the first time and havenāt worked it out yet. Man I miss those first days playing this game - where I was too scared to go anywhere and dropping my jaw at every discovery and feeling like moving up to an iron greatsword made me so much more powerful ![]()
If you havenāt tried it, I can recommend playing through on really low XP rates (like 0.1/0.2) - itās still not quite the same as the first time, but you do actually get to feel the progression again. (Loot can still jump you higher than you would be, but you often canāt fix it, so it at least feels like something special to use only when you need it.)
Been a while since I did a run through on those kinda cruel settings but ya know what? Might be time to give it a whirl again. Cowabunga dude!
When it comes to armor, I would especially appreciate the option to filter by which part of the body it covers
Right now im using by type which i find very handy when sorting. I used to have none before- but spent way too much time sorting out stuff.
Iād also add that they should allow the Tooltip to be searchable.
Maybe I want to go āall Staminaā and therefore want to craft the best, say, Medium armor with āStaminaā in the tooltip. So Iād select Armor ā Medium and then type āstamā in the search field.
