Yep. That’s how I got this achievement. Accidentally. But I don’t mind.
And I recommend flying really high with a fully corrupted build, though. It’s not obvious, and I found this out by accident too, but bat demon carries fully corrupted sorcerers a lot longer. A “pure” pseudo-sorcerer will be thrown down too fast.

Even at regular corrupted you go really high though. I never had to corrupt attributes when I was skybase hunting which is above the height to trigger this achievement.
