I’ve just read a very interesting article, which basically says that developers will be able to easily patch their games to enable Easy Anti-Cheat and Battleye support for Steam Proton.
If Funcom took advantage of it, this would mean people playing Conan Exiles on Linux could play on Official and other Battleye-enabled servers.
This is really huge deal for us Linux players, since filtering out Battleye-enabled pretty much eliminates 90% of servers. Further filtering what’s left for personal preference (rates etc.) often results in a completely empty server list.
Please Funcom, do it as soon as the SDK is available
