    A: We don’t have a set schedule for patches. They will arrive when they’re ready, but we will of course announce all our patches when they come out.

  • Q: My private server is down/won’t show up in the server list?
    A: Get in touch with your server admin/rental service and have them restart it. If you’ve rented a server from Funcom your server admin will be G-Portal.

  • Q: What’s Testlive?
    A: Testlive is a separate branch on Steam that we used during Early Access to get some additional testing in on certain updates and fixes. The Testlive builds will usually be more unstable than the live builds, but will have newer content and bug fixes.
    To access Testlive go to your Steam Library, right click on Conan Exiles, Select Properties > Betas > Select “Testlive” from the drop-down menu. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to access the regular official servers if you’re playing on the Testlive branch. There will be Testlive servers available, though.

  • Q: Do you have any sort of pre-order bonuses?
    A: We most certainly do!
    If you buy or pre-order the physical retail Day One Edition you will get an activation code in the game box that lets you unlock the Atlantean Sword as a crafting recipe. The sword is modeled after the sword Arnold Schwarzenegger used in the Conan the Barbarian movie.
    If you’ve bought the Early Access/Game Preview version of Conan Exiles, or pre-order a digital version, you will get access to Conan’s Royal Armor as a crafting recipe at launch. This armor is based on Conan’s armor from when he was king of Aquilonia in Age of Conan.

  • Q: How many players can we have per server?
    A: We have a player limit of 40 players per server. If we’re able to ensure server stability with more players, we will consider increasing this number.

  • Q: How many can we have in a clan?
    A: We’re only allowing 10 players to a clan on a server.

  • Q: Hey, did you fix [insert bug here]?
    A: We’ve fixed a ton of different bugs over the Early Access period. You can find a complete list of PC and console patches on our forums.

  • Q: Which languages are you supporting at launch?
    A: Conan Exiles will be available in 11 languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.

  • Q: What’s this Purge thing?
    A: The Purge is a PvE mechanic where groups of enemies will spawn in and attack players. As you play a Purge meter will fill up on your character screen, and once it’s filled you’re eligible for a Purge. Anything from human NPCs to beasts and monsters can attack you. The only way to make a Purge stop is to drive your enemies back or hold off their attack long enough until they retreat.
    In general purges become more difficult the further north your base is on the map. Higher difficulty purges will contain special bosses with unique loot, or special crafter NPCs that have unique recipes on them. You will need a combination of smart base design, thrall defenders, higher tier buildings and good teamplay to withstand the most difficult purges.

PC

  • Q: What are you doing to keep people from cheating?
    A: Conan Exiles uses Battle-Eye to prevent people from using cheating software. People exploiting game mechanics should be reported to us via Exploit Hunters.

  • Q: Can I make my own server?
    A: You can host a server on your own machine or rent one from an external company. The choice is yours.

  • On PC you can either rent a private server from Gportal or you can set one up yourself on a separate computer. Instructions for how to set up your own server can be found on our website:

Xbox One

  • Q: Does Xbox One receive the same content as other Platforms?
    A: Yes.

  • Q: Will there be split-screen co-op on consoles?
    A: There will not be splitscreen support.

  • Q: Where is nudity?
    A: Full nudity will be made available on consoles on launch day, May 8th, but only for the regions where the age rating allows it.
    ESRB = partial nudity
    PEGI/USK = full nudity

  • Q: Can I have a private server on Xbox One?
    _A: Absolutely! Here’s how you can rent a private Xbox One server: Xbox One Servers are available for rent via a UWP app from Gportal, our official server provider. The app is available in the Microsoft app store:

Playstation 4

  • Q: When does Conan Exiles Launch on Playstation 4?
    A: The game leaves Early Access and launches on all platforms May 8th, 2018.

  • Q: Does Playstation 4 receive the same content as other Platforms?
    A: Yes.

  • Q: Will there be split-screen co-op on consoles?

Barbarian Edition

  • Q: I purchased the Barbarian Edition. How do I claim my goodies?

    You will receive everything but the shirt immediately.

  • Q: Why have I not received my T-Shirt?
    A: The shirts are shipped in staggered batches and can take several weeks before the shipment is initiated. As long as you have correctly put in your shipping information, you will receive your shirt once the shipment is completed.
