The ravenous wolf is very easy to kill if you know how, @Wonka .
Hereās what you need to have in mind. It only has linear non AoE attacks.
When this is the case, in Conan Exiles, you only need to use circular motions against the enemy. Itās very difficult for the AI to catch you. Manage your stamina, use a shield. Donāt push your luck. Any weapon will do as long as you know the animations. I repeat, a shield trivializes this combat.
I used a mace. Block its attack, strike with two light attacks, two heavy attacks. Again, this is your choice. Time the wolf. Then chose your attacks. I killed many so I memorized its rhythm long ago. Walk in circles. Block, wait for its attack, strike. Move out of range, do a little stamina regen circular walk, repeat.
If it is not alone, you need more situational awareness. Same principle applies, though. Circular motion. They canāt catch you. Keep in mind that raising the shield will delay stamina regen. So you only do it to block. Only keep it up at full stamina.
Ok, take a look. Youāll never fear it again.

Tbf, the video you posted DOES work, but itās a lengthy and boring battle. Thereās nothing interesting about the corrupted wolf. It literally has a massive health pool and a strong attack. It does just what regular wolves do, but makes it more annoying. Thatās no fault of yours though. Itās just an annoying enemy, especially when surrounded by other wolves attacking you. It will literally jump in and mess up your day when youāre dealing with an easier wolf.

When you get it along with two wolves, in the Devilās Squat, your odds of dying increase significantly. Thatās why I would go there at night, alone. Itās thrilling. 
@jmk1999 some people like the challenge by itself. The fun is surviving it.

Wolves can be cheesed in general, you just get unlucky if it double bit dodges, and nips you toes cause your 1 pixal to close.
Everything pretty much is easy if you Strafe circle itā¦ So many of attacks have windups. XD
Shield breaks game basically (as it does most gamesā¦)
I remember being up there abit early (nabbing black ice) having stand on rock pillar till night passedā¦ 2 of them just staring at my soul from down below.
I tend have brightness setting just down a notch. Pitch Black is Pitch Black. =3

Cool adventure. 
Good thinking, climbing a tree. Some people try to outrun them at night, get stuck a little ahead and thatās that, @Sera67 .
Edit: a pilar, not a tree, but itās the same.

Good news, your thrall survived. The very first time a server disconnected on me, the red mother killed my strongest Greater Sabretooth, and all the nerfs to pets pretty much ensure Iāll never be able to level another to be as strong.

Never. You donāt do boss fights solo to loot them, you donāt give a dime about their loot, you do boss fights solo to enjoy the fact that you stay alive and itās corpse lye on your feet.
The loot is just a boon, nothing else.

I was with a full authority build because I planned taking two ladies out for the evening , full agi, 0 points in strenght (thus wrong weapon! 
) and stolen lemurian armor from the pagoda. You donāt want to go with filthy rags when you take two cuties for a good time .
The fight would have been much shorter if I had properly prepared it. This goes to show how easy it is if you know your opponent.
