I think we need tanner and artisan T2 bench to reduce the cost of crafting.
If you have a t3 you only need t1-2 for decorations!

Yes! And then let’s add T3 tanner and artisan benches with several specializations! And after that, let’s add a T4 tier for all benches! The T4 tier benches would come in greater variety than T3, because each variant of a T4 bench would have a unique recipe, so you would have to craft them all if you wanted to craft all those recipes! And the best bit? You can’t craft a T4 bench itself without a proper recipe for that bench (e.g. Specialized Artisan IX) and those recipes only have 1% chance of dropping from Thag in Wine Cellar (or in a T4 summoned surge, if you’re on Siptah)!

I smell so much irony in your post 
But other than that I like to some extent specializations on benches, however I could not see myself having endless rows of similar benches and most certainly not more slot machine drops, Siptah already has more than plenty of grindy rng drops for my taste

Grindy at the moment but still in early acces stage so guess it will come more stuff.
But the game need to be hard, so you have smthing to do a long time, not as i se on many new clans that come in to the server and done everything in a week or 2 and then move on to the next game. Need to have a good balase on grinding and other long time stuff to work on.
I wouldn´t mind having more benches, specially a builders workbench. Still don´t understand why they didn´t implement it. It would have been handy and its not a big deal to pick up your bench and take it with you or build it out of some basic materials on the run.
For the rest, well, we once had thralls and they worked great and it was fun to hunt them down. I don´t know who ate too much cookies in the Funcom´s office at that day to find a change like that funny … but seriously … this nonesense needs to stop. I really wonder who comes up with such ideas. I mean there was great system in place and it worked and then … puff … sugar shock, brain fireworks and disaster.
Looks like? My base has an IKEA store. (Really. The hut where my Artisan workbenches are has an IKEA sign at the main entrance. Sorry, no screenshot, as I never thought it would be interesting or funny enough.)
