Title Pretty much sums it up. I would like to know the stamina costs of each weapon type and to determine the best kit to apply to each weapon.
I want to say its the same across the board for every melee weapon based on whether its a heavy or light attack. With some specific differences here and there. But you can test it yourself in game by turning on the numbers for your health/stamina bar in option and simply attacking.
Specifically its going to be on the individual weapon since this cost is derived from its entry in the itemtable. I’m just not inclined to try to export that to a spreadsheet. Though Xevyr might, he has way more patience than I do with that sort of thing.
Yeah, he provided us with excellent spreadsheets, probably he won’t stone me, if I tag him @Xevyr (Xevyr, did you do the pre 60 fragments of power mod? I highly appreciate it!)
@erjoh balanced weapon fitting on Grey ones stuff! They use a lot more stamina than others, that’s the only thing I know about stamina usage of weapons. And probably the delving recipe Balancing daggers(?).
I just checked as I have that exported already, in the itemtable there is the possibility to do it, though in there every single weapon has the stamina cost multiplier set to 1…
Sooo that means the rest is done from the combo rules table, which won’t be of much use.
Here @erjoh I tried filtering out the junk related to bosses and NPCs but there’s still multiple entries some of which are used some aren’t. Not very usable imo
I did an average of it on the side which might be more helpful though it does include some of the unused crap in the other part
Edit: woops, forgot to include an explanation… so basically those are the entries that define the rules for the combo animations, which animation can follow which one etc… building up the full weapon combos. So stamina is adjusted for the same weapon based on the actual combo section being performed instead of globally.
Yea lol… somebody was very specific and asking if there’s a mod like that so we told them no but they can download the devkit and make one… then I figured it’s really specific and simple and I just did it for them in a few minutes rather than torture them to have to download like 250 GB
But that’s half the fun!
Yeeee, thanks a lot!
