what are the point of settlements?
Honestly, barring any unforeseen shenanigans behind the scenes, there is really no good reason the game would not continue to develop, at least in some fashion. I simply point to other popular survival titles for my argument. If the player base continues to invest time/energy/money into a ‘survival’ game, it seems that those games continue to grow and develop. It’s no guarantee, obviously, but it is a trend that is rather prevalent in today’s market.
