Isle of Siptah good for private PvE server?

If I’m just playing with 2 other people on a private server, is Isla of Siptah worth playing? I’ve heard it’s really meant for PvP only.

opinions vary.

Yes, the island seems like it was intended as a grand PvP zone. That said, there is a fair amount to accomplish and explore on the IoS.

Some features vs the exiled lands:

  • odd sunrise/sunset positions
  • odd lighting
  • never rains
  • no sandstorm (see maelstom)
  • vault system
  • surge system (heavily changed from launch)
  • periodic maelstrom
(much less lethal than at launch)
renders center of island challenging to settle in due to spawning storm creatures destroying structures.
  • odd topography
  • large clusters of raw materials

All in all, it feel like a demi-plane vs a part of the overall Conan world. As it is a DLC and only marginally supported, I don’t consider it worth a permanent rotation unless it is part of a server cluster and can be traveled to as an extended encounter zone.

I do, however, think it is worth experiencing at least once to form your own opinions.

Wait, so you can travel there from the Exiled lands?

Only with the Mod Amunet Server Transfer

Definitely! No doubt about it.
Try to find a server that’s new without many players, it has magnificent landscapes to build and a sigil system. Plus it has dogs, i play Siptah only for Brutus or Ares. @IPL_Victim said correct things except one

They use to destroy structures on early access.
Some servers may have this, but generally this is disabled, it’s high unlikely you’ll find a server with this enabled. Personally i never had this experience. What buildings do now in the Maelstrom area is to destroy spawns of Maelstrom creatures, that’s why i always enjoy the Maelstrom in the tower area.

Go for it, amazing experience too many POI.

Well, like I said, it would just be me and 2 friends by ourselves, PvE.

Definitely, do it, the whole map will be yours to explore, amazing experience don’t miss it.

Is there the same amount of enemies about? Like is it basically the same amount of PvE as the original map?

If you’re speaking of finding different AI of enemies not so, the AI is more or less the same.
But the content is almost double, everything you have on exile lands with a few exceptions plus all the Siptah. Trust me 20 Euros for this dlc is a joke, they charged something not to give it for free.
Siptah do not have the obelisk teleport system, only the sorcery teleport system. In Siptah star metal is cheap metal, easy metal, your goal is eldarium.

Siptah has 12 or 14 vaults (dungeons) the most difficult is volary of harpies, go late game there. In every end after the boss killing you’ll get really good loot and maybe recipes. Yet you get sigils in every end of vault, you consume them and get buffed, but not like the usual buffs you know in exile lands. Amazing buffs.

Siptah has Grey pools that you summon bosses with little statues you collect around the map. Amazing loot again and Schematic Fragments to give you new recipes.

Siptah has 4 open areas, mini unnamed cities, that you fight different bosses and gain amazing loot again and legendaries that do not exist on exile lands.

Siptah has tier4 surges that you gain amazing warriors and named crafters dressed in tribe clothing. Plus in each surge you gain now a ton of legendary weapons. Yet if you wish to role play, lower tier surges are spawning unique tribes you ain’t going to see on exile lands, but they are not named, they are lower tiers.

Siptah has ships to raid, flotsam boxes all over the map and the temple of the loon which spawns main named tribe of forgotten clan (Dalinsia, Sonya, Marcos, Ulrich, etc…)

Siptah has underwater caves with exeptional loot.

Siptah has… Many!!! Many, many, to see, discover, enjoy.

The minus of Siptah?
No maproom.
Too much rng.
No dregs recipe.
No riptide, but for this i am not so sure anymore, maybe they add it.
No snow biome.
No rain.
No Al Mera yah fortress.

All the others are 3 times better than exile lands.

Okay cool, I was just worried that since it was made for PvP that it would be just a big empty island without enemies to fight.
