Bug Description:

The game crashes when loading Isle of Siptah single player

Steps to Reproduce:

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. Please be as detailed as possible; the more details, the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Start game, single player, Isle of Siptah map (any settings).
    2.Observe the game crashing on the loading screen.

I can understand that single player mode is not of great importance for this game. Still, this game mode is present in Conan Exiles, and some of us, did buy this game for that reason.

I really like this game, and I have spent hundreds of hours of my life playing it and I supported the developers spending money to buy all the dlc’s out till now.

One of the reasons of buying a PS5, was the hope that Conan Exiles will run great on it. But Isle of Siptah is unable to even start… what a let down.

I really feel tired by the never ending stream of problems that this title brings. The design is brilliant, please hire some programmers that know their job.

I had a similar issue on my PS4 not terribly long ago. Twice actually.
The first time a quick cleaning and the addition of an external hard drive to improve available memory knocked the issue out. That time the game would often make the “airplane noises” when trying to load. The fan obviously working overtime.
The second time something inside had become corrupted and I had to do a full uninstall reinstall. With a game the size of Conan, pluss all patches, ect, it’s a very long process.

I had heard it runs better on the PS5.
My condolences that this does not seem to be the case for you.

  • Is your console on a wired or wireless connection?
  • Do you experience similar issues playing other PS games?
  • Can you share with us how old is the current save you’re playing in, and can you give us an estimate on how much you’ve built so far?

Some suggestions you might want to try in the meantime:
Could you try rebuilding your PS’s database settings? (Safe Mode on PS5™ consoles and PS4™ consoles (US))

If possible, could you try to backup your singleplayer save to a pen drive and clear up your save and profile, then start a new game to see if the issues persist?

Additionally, please make sure to send the crash reports through the PS dashboard when this issue happens so our team can get a hold of them and look into the cause.

Hi,

My console is on a wired connection.
There are no similar issues with other games.
I have deleted the game, profile and saves and reinstalled the game on a new hard drive and the issue still persists. On starting fresh, the game still crashes during the loading screen when entering the Isle of Siptah map.

I will try to rebuild the database and I will send the crash reports through the PS dashboard should the issue still occur.
